Hi ,

Can I know if the VAX OS is still available to customers at HP. We have a VAX simulator , so planning to sey up a training system using VAX VMS 7.3 .

I would expect you could order OpenVMS VAX V7.3 license and a distribution from HP or an HP reseller, yes.

The Software Product Description (SPD) for OpenVMS VAX V7.3 is available at:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/info/spd/

and the SPD contains the part numbers for the licenses and kits -- you'll need the base license for the VAX processor being emulated, a user license, and a NAS (NET-APP-SUP) or a TCP/IP Services (UCX) license for networking. And probably others.

OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS I64 software licenses and Alpha and Integrity hardware are also available, as well.

Your HP rep or HP reseller should be able to assist here.
