Of all things, I am tasked to move alpha systems from out of state to az. compaq used
to have a relocation service out in CA.
this place has used them before. the info
I have is 5 yrs old and theres nobody home
there now.

does HP still have a service like that? I
havn't found anything yet in the website. I
would like to have the systems properly disconnected, packed carefully and moved
here.

any other companys anyones used to move?
I'd like to get a few quotes

Dean

HP will do this, the keyword used to be "DEC-Move." Log a call, a relocation specialist should provide a quote.

They'll arrange disconnect, movers, packing and reinstall. I've always presented this as paying for insurance in the event of any problems. For equipment in transit, service contracts probably don't apply. Officially you'll need to have a system inspected at the new site if it's under contract, using DECmove handles that problem.

Andy
