The Heap Analyzer crashes in VMS 8.3

I was able to run it in VMS 7.3-2

There is no hint of what the problem is (e.g. quotas, access violation, etc.).

Report this to HP. I saw a similar problem and they supplied a fix. The fix is due to appear in a patch kit sometime.

Can you post a transcript of what you see?

Are you running on Alpha or I64?

That was my thread, I got a remedial patch set from HP; apparently there will be an official debug patch set in the new year.

thanks for pointing to the other thread. Could you please provide the name of the fix or a reference case number for the HP call in the other thread and then close that thread, as you have obviously received a solution from HP.

Does anyone have info on the name of the patch, or revision number, etc.
