VMS Keyboard Language Settings

We have recieved a 5-node Alpha ES80 cluster system which was setup in Germany. The console keyboard was German type so got it changed to English type. Set the Console parameter "set Language 36" on console, now my keyboard mapping are ok when in Console propmt. But after VMS boots, it still has German keyboard mapping when using from Console terminal. How do I chhange this back to US-English mappings.

About which "Console terminal" are we talking
here, CDE ("New Desktop")? There is a
Keyboard control (with a Keyboard Type
option) in the Style Manager.

I have the problem after I login using DECW, the problem on Console prompt was resolved after I changed the "set Language=32".

What are the settings in DECW which I need to change to rectify the problem.

DECW --> DEC-WINDOWS. Got the solution in the DecMotif style manager, thanks very much.

It's "DECwindows", but that's the low-level
(X Windows) software. Above that, there's
the old (pre-CDE) desktop or the (CDE) "New
Desktop", and only one of those user
interfaces has the Style Manager.

It is actualy CDE interface..I am still in the old time habit of refeering it as DEC Windows. My sincere appologies and thanks very much for your help.
