Congratulations to Uwe Zessin. By the time that he gets points here, he will have earned a VMS hat. He already has a Graduate hat in storage, and is soon to earn his Wizard hat.

He is already over 1000 points if you include his Business support points.

Hello everybody.
Thank you very much for your fine words. I feel that ITRC is a much nicer place than COV today. I have already written in another thread that I know the mailing-list side (INFO-VAX) since 1986, comp.os.vms did not even exist then - it was before 'the great renaming' of usenet newsgroups. During my employment at that time I had access to a Unix-based 'notes' system and the conference was named 'mod.computers.vax'.

There are many knowledgeable people here who keep the discussions on-topic and don't whine all day long. Well, I hope you apologize my small diversions from time to time. Let me know if you think it is not appropriate.

Jan, I do understand english a little bit, so it is OK ;-)
