    <description>I appear still to be using "xpdf version&lt;BR /&gt;2.02pl1" on my Alpha system, but if I were&lt;BR /&gt;interested in investigating this problem,&lt;BR /&gt;I'd expect to get some useful info from the&lt;BR /&gt;problem report, like:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; XPDF 3.02 built by Chip Coldwell [...]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Obtained whence?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[...] crashes [...]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Did what, exactly, when you did what,&lt;BR /&gt;exactly?</description>

      <description>Has anyone built a binary of XPDF for OpenVMS / Itanium ? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;XPDF 3.02 built by Chip Coldwell crashes on OpenVMS / Itanium 8.3-1H1 and I have not found any other binary.</description>

Not very usefull (no sources, no build procedures).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; [...] crashes [...]&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Did what, exactly, when you did what,&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; exactly?&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I launch XPDF, the main window briefly appears and then the exe crashes. I have not investigated more because without possibility of debugging...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>On request, I have built a kit for OpenVMS I64 V8.3, available under&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://de.openvms.org/software-download/I64VMS-V83-XPDF-V0302-KITS.ZIP" target="_blank"&gt;http://de.openvms.org/software-download/I64VMS-V83-XPDF-V0302-KITS.ZIP&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The I64 V8.3-1H1 kit is now named&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://de.openvms.org/software-download/I64VMS-V831H1-XPDF-V0302-KITS.ZIP" target="_blank"&gt;http://de.openvms.org/software-download/I64VMS-V831H1-XPDF-V0302-KITS.ZIP&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(I doubt that the filename mentioned above worked for a long time - I apologize for the confusion).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The kit for OpenVMS Alpha V8.3, the GhostScript fonts kit and the source kit mentioned above are also available.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Another way to access all of them is with anonymous FTP to ftp.pdv-systeme.de in the vms directory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cu,&lt;BR /&gt;Martin</description>
