Our company is investigating how to replace CONNX with SQL BI (SSIS). I have encountered a roadblock in finding an ODBC driver for HP’s OpenVMS Alpha system. Does anybody know if HP offers such a driver?

Ignoring the entirely jarring concept of somebody having to ask what products HP might offer here in a forum, AFAIK, HP does not offer an ODBC client nor server.

As for some of the options for ODBC clients and ODBC servers on OpenVMS (and updates are welcome), see:

http://64.223.189.234/node/668

ODBC has had some coverage in the OpenVMS FAQ, as well.

Hoff - that link gives :-

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /node/668 on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The busted attunity URL has been corrected. Thanks.

Access to that web page is open AFAIK; there are a few ways to generate forbidden errors if you're doing something, um, creative with your web client, but I've not seen any generic access problems.

There are no 404 errors for that web page in the current logs. If you can reproduce the error, I'm definitely interested -- send me mail offline, and I'll check the contemporary logs.
