Alpha is still stuck at SMH patch release 2.0-18. Are there plans to catch it up to Itanium, which is already at 2.0-21 (and 2.2 actually)? Specifically, I need to resolve this problem which was fixed in 2.0-20:

The following problems are corrected in HP SMH Patch Release V2.0-20:

â ¢Network MAC address of the system running HP SMH ending with â F0â to â FFâ causes HP SMH to timeout. This issue is fixed in this release.

Does anyone know if the recently released SMH patch release 2.0-20 works with the recently released CSWS_PHP 2.1? The installation guide still states CSWS_PHP 1.3 as a software requirement and there's no mention at all of CSWS_PHP 2.1 either way.

I don't know for sure... But I have a work-around for SMH 2.0-17 with CSWS_PHP2.1. SMH creates a new httpd.conf file on every startup of SMH with the following entry:

LoadModule php4_module modules/mod_php_apache-2_0.exe

Edit the httpd.conf file and change this entry to:

LoadModule php5_module modules/mod_php_apache-2_0.exe

Next, rename the httpd.conf file to version 32767 and restart SMH.

I did log a call on this (back in June) against SMH 2.0-17 Alpha. The problem was acknowledged and HP said either the documentation would be clarified or possibly the code would be fixed in the next release.

Bill
Hi,
SMH engineering is in the last phase of releasing a patch for ALPHA, which will support PHP 2.1 and SSL 1.4. Expected date for the patch release will be the first or second week of septerber'10.
This patch will serve the same features as SMH V2.0-21 does for itanium.
