This morning I noticed that Volker Halle
( http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/publicProfile.do?userId=BR765741&forumId=1 )
now carries a hat, and that I can not find any congrats thread for it! And that, while he even is the top newbee, and a pure VMS forumist.
I simply have to make up for that.

I'm not gonna try this in German (my command of the German language is rusty to say the least).

Volker Halle has extensive knowledge especially in the area of crash dump and error log analysis and I'm very glad he finds the time to answer questions in this forum.

I've been doing OpenVMS since 23 years and OpenVMS troubleshooting and crashdump analysis are part of my professional work, but I also do this as a hobby ! Could you think of anything more interesting than analyzing a crashdump before sunday afternoon tea (or coffee) ?

So you can expect to see me actively participating and helping the OpenVMS community through this forum.

(and for those of you who don't know him, Volker is THE crash dump analyst. He's committed every dump logged with Digital/Compaq/HP in the last decade to memory and he never sleeps :-)

then I guess you will remeber the 7.3-1 upgrade where a trans-cluster getjpi on a process holding MANY identifiers was disastrous (patch 732-SYS_04 IIRC) ?
Well, it was my "pleasure" to find that one... If it has given you sleepless nights, that makes four of us (you and me, & Anton and Frank with whom I form the VMS team at RPAA).
But, if it WAS you, then please admit to it, and you will (somewhat belated) still get the most deserved points I have ever given in this forum.
