Hello Leslie,

I seem to remember that at some point in time the default size for various fonts changed. Is that maybe the case for you too? Changing the font size for the application might help.

Greetings, Martin

Due to a disk failure we have had to reinstall the software on our Alphastation XP900. As the original software disks were mislaid the software was reloaded from different disks.

The software reloaded was OVMS V7.2-1
Motif V1.2-5
Fortran for OVMS V7.5-1
CXML V3.59-2

The previous versions would have been current in late 2000, I'm afraid I don't know the versions.

The problem is when running a Fortran program the GUI generated by the program (using UIL) is larger than before and some of the contents don't appear on the screen. Do you know of any settings that should be set. I have tried setting MONITOR_DENSITY to 75 but this has no effect

On some application , when windows are clipped, i.e. the windows are too large to fit on the screen, to fix (perhaps) this problem,
I know the ressource *DXmfitToScreenPolicy set to AS_NEEDED

*DXmfitToScreenPolicy: AS_NEEDED

and use
xrdb -merge this resource to be on globally(or put it in your Xdefaults file).

Hope this help
