topic Oracle 9.2 Spatial query fails; Spatial performance problem in Operating System - OpenVMS

Two problems with Oracle 9.2 Spatial on VMS 7.3-1, as described by the DBA:

I migrated an Oracle 8.1.7.4 database to 9.2.0.4 succesfully, but have some specific Spatial problems.
First problem is that Oracle ends the connection with an ORA-3113 after a simple spatial query.
Second problem is the (very) poor performance of queries involving Spatial operators.

The problems have been reported to Oracle, and registered as bugs (3593243 and 3622184). Does anyone have experience with Oracle Spatial on VMS and recognize my problems?
(I have 2 lengthy TAR reports if anyone wants more details).
