      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to change node name of my server.&lt;BR /&gt;When I give show net I got following output.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ show net&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Product:  DECNET        Node:  OVMS83               Address(es):  13.25&lt;BR /&gt;Product:  TCP/IP        Node:  bond007.eri.xko.dec.com Address(es):  16.138.189.68&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to change node name OVMS83 to bond07.&lt;BR /&gt;To do this I run the script file:&lt;BR /&gt;@sys$startup:NET$CONFIGURE.COM&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and configure the node name to bond07 but it didn't work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After that I restarted the system but then also it didn't work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone help me how to change the node name.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;ajaydec</description>

      <description>hi ajaydec, as far as decnet goes, if you&lt;BR /&gt;have a local database use decnet_register&lt;BR /&gt;to make a definition for it. use sysgen&lt;BR /&gt;to set the scsnode to bond07. if the addess&lt;BR /&gt;hasn't changed you don't need to change scssystemid.</description>
