      <description>&lt;P&gt;My summary:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The roadmap has lost all pretence of new versions or features.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;They can't even be bothered to port to the next gen Itanium.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;There is no official EOL for support on Itanium as yet.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think I heard my first VMS EOL rumour in 1987. Since then I've seen NT and Tru64 actually go EOL. And Digital, come to that...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When the 5 year roadmaps first came out each was met with a 'Oh, VMS only has 5 years to live'. I think the first one was back in 1997.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As Mark Twain said, "The rumors of my death have been&amp;nbsp;greatly exaggerated".&lt;/P&gt;</description>
