    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Need your expertise.. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;\Teroman_s» datatrieve&lt;BR /&gt;DEC DATATRIEVE V7.2&lt;BR /&gt;Digital Query and Report System&lt;BR /&gt;Type HELP for help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;DTR&amp;gt; show dictionary&lt;BR /&gt;The default directory is CDD$DEFAULT&lt;BR /&gt;                       = CDD$TOP.TEROMAN.DTR&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;At the default there are some domains defined. I can use them. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I modify or create a new record or domain, it says that &lt;BR /&gt;Element "CDD$TOP.TEROMAN.DTR" not found in dictionary.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please tell me what should I do to be able to create new records and domains. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for your time and help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Is this a CDD based or external file based dictionary?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WAG:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I suspect a problem with logical names.&lt;BR /&gt;Do a manual drill down of show logical for CDD$DEFAULT, CDD$TOP and any lower level logical name candidates in those paths.&lt;BR /&gt;Search lists in there? Rooted logicals?&lt;BR /&gt;Try again with a single transalation level logical name?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hein.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Din't use Datatrieve since 1989 but could it be a cdd corruption or ptotection problem ? Did you post the complete error message ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wim</description>
