Porting DEC Ada starlet to unix

I have some very old Ada code that was for DEC Ada. Of course it is riddled with calls to Starlet.

I want to port the code to windows.

where do i start? how do i rip out startlet and condition_handling and replace it with calls to windows system libraries.

I'd start by removing the VMS-specific code,
and replacing it with something else.

I'd use a text editor.

Of course, if I were porting the code "to
unix", I probably wouldn't replace anything
"with calls to windows system libraries".

The subject relates to *nix yet the question refers
to windows -- no mention that you wanted both.
