FDL specifications online?

Quick question - are there any online guides that explain the fields in FDL files? I'm trying to decipher some FDL files and I'm not 100% sure what all the fields mean. Sorry if this is easily available somewhere on this site and I missed it, but I tried my best to search here in several places and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
