      <title>EVE - Finding cursor postion</title>

      <description>Isn't there some way within EVE to see what position in the present line that the cursor sits at?  The "WHAT LINE" shows the line number, but I thought there was some cryptic COMMAND entry (like "=" or ".?" or something) that would show the cursor position.  Couldn't find anything in the manual.  TIA</description>

      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;For me it's Gold-K, which I achieve by defining the following function in my custom section:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;procedure my_get_cursor_pos&lt;BR /&gt;        column := get_info( current_window, "current_column" );&lt;BR /&gt;        line := get_info( current_window, "current_row" );&lt;BR /&gt;        message ( "Column !UL, row !UL", 0, column, line );&lt;BR /&gt;endprocedure;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and then in my tpu$local_init:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  define_key("my_get_cursor_pos", key_name("K", shift_key), "Show cursor" );&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As far as I can tell from searching sys$examples:*.tpu, there is no built-in eve_what_column function corresponding to eve_what_line.</description>
