Brute force...

- Shut down TCP/IP Services manually, and comment-out the TCPIP$STARTUP invocation from your

SYSTARTUP_VMS.COM startup.

- Reboot.

- Reconfigure using TCPIP$CONFIG

- Reactviate the TCPIP$STARTUP within your startup

- Reboot.

It's probably possible to be able to avoid a reboot, but the sequencing of the startup can mean some network-related products don't start up quite right.

Edit: found yet another bug in the forum software. The list mechanism causes the entire list to disappear from the posting. Why am I not surprised?

We are running openvms 7.3-2 on an alpha server, tcpip version 5.4 echo 6.

We recently changed the domain of the server, but when I try and reconfigure the bind configuration via @tcpip$config the old domain still appears, and I can't seem to change it. Any ideas?

Thanks
