Hi there,

what would be the fastest way
to compile apache 2 with the
worker mpm module (as opposed
to the default prefork module).

Side question : is the worker
module supported under VMS ?

I looked on the HP CSWS site,
but found only the source code
kit for 1.3.

PS : the reason : compile a module
best configured as a single
process with multithreading.

As far as I know, the worker module is not supported under VMS and it is uncertain if and when it will be supported.

Benoit,

If you realy love to have a stable Apache environment on OpenVMS, use 1.3 . The 2.0 version only uses ST/LF files, which are not nice to have on VMS systems.
All the other problems are fixed withing 1.3 and 2.0 has still some problems left.
