Hi,

my security guys reported a vulnerability to me.

Vulnerability: RIP-1 Poisoning Routing Table Modification

ToDo: Either disable the RIP agent if it is not used or use RIP-2 and implement authentication.

I configured Rip-2 via GATED daemon, but I've no idea how to implement authentication.

Any hints for me?

I forgot this message.

Meanwhile I learned a little bit about routing.

At the moment static routing is fine for me.
