Hi All!

We are a mobile phone company operates in the IMT-MC-450 (CDMA2000) standard, in Russia, Sankt-Petersburg...

At the time we considiring to purchase Lucent Super-Distributed HLR solution. A main kind to interoperate/integrate our own Information-Billing System with the SDHLR is the CORBA interface...

So, is there a hope that "someone" from VMS-guys/staff will get a task to port and "support" omniORB for example?

PS:If someone have an information about HLR solution on OpenVMS - please contact me ASAP!!!

An opensource project omniORB (CORBA compliant) is available for OpenVMS.

Have seen. Got it. There is no .MMS or .COM to build this stuff under OVMS.

Just downloaded the tarball from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/omniorb/omniORB-4.0.5.tar.gz?use_mirror=ovh
In there (hidden somewhere) is a ZIP file (called openvms.zip) that includes command procedures and .MMS files.

We use omniORB (with C/C++) and openORB (with java) on VMS with no problems.
