      <title>RUnning Telnet in a DCL procedure</title>

      <description>I'd like to run Telnet in a DCL procedure, but I get the following when I try it:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ telnet&lt;BR /&gt;%SYSTEM-W-NODEVAVL, no device available&lt;BR /&gt;%SMG-F-INVPAS_ID, invalid pasteboard-id&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What I'm trying to do is have a DCL procedure that's run during system startup create a Telnet session that's connected to a DECserver 700 port:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ telnet&lt;BR /&gt;create_session cmprm5 2015 8000 /permanent&lt;BR /&gt;exit&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After the system is booted, I can create the telnet sessions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance!</description>
