    <description>I am trying to read a file from remote machine using java through SSH API but the shell setup file is getting hanged when it encounters read statement.&lt;BR /&gt;I would like to know is there anyway to find out the shell has been hanged so that I throw some exception by which the user can know status whats up.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
