topic Network Routing RIPv1 or RIPv2 in Operating System - OpenVMS

How can you tell what version of RIP is being used? I'm using VMS 7.1 with UCX 4.1 and two NIC cards.
I have a Class C address space (192.168.x.x) which I need subnet into 8 network using a subnet mask of /27. The first seven subnets will use one NIC card while the last subnet will use the second NIC card. The equipment associated with one NIC card cannot communicate with the equipment on the other NIC card. To do this I need RIPv2.
Note: I have very little to no experience wrt VMS and UCX, so please be explicit as possible.

Hi,

UCX V4.1 only supports RIP V1. TCP/IP V5.x supports both RIP V1 and RIP V2.

Thanks and regards.

Michael
