Hello,

According to the thread here :
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=870116

We are planning to increase max_smb_data_size to 16384. We use NT and XP PCs connected to a cluster of Alpha servers (VMS 7.3-2 ASO 7.3A ECO4).

Here are the questions :

- Is it possible to increase max_smb_data_size to a value larger than 16384 (or is it the "best " possible value)
- do you see any possible side effect

Thanks
