I have heard that ECO4 of pathworks advanced server is out. How can I get what version I have.
If I do a pwver I get PWRK$MASTER V7.3-140A
--
I am going to be upgrading from vms 7.3-1 to 8.2 on an alpha cluster and want to make sure I have the latest version

Jerry,

Your output shows you are already running ECO4. After you do the VMS 8.2 upgrade, you will need to re-install Advanced Server. If you have lost track of the CPQ-AXPVMS-ADVANCEDSERVER-V0703-A4-1.PCSI kit, you can download it from the ITRC patch site.

Bill

I have that kit available to install. Why is that I have to install it again? Also I am in a 2 node cluster using a quorum disk that is also the common system disk. I should only need to do the re-install once and just then run the pwrk$config on each node after, correct ?

Some parts of pathworks are VMS version dependant and need to be changed, if going from V7 to V8. In case of a common system disk, the installation is only nec. once, of course.

regards Kalle
