Hello

Does anyone know when IPP is suported in the TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS? What would be the first version containing this support?

Thanks for your time

Beat

I think HP DECprint Supervisor for OpenVMS (DCPS) (a layered product but so no separate license is needed) is most likely to have support
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/print/index.html

however the SPD does not mention IPP so I guess not. There is no mention of IPP in the DCPS or TCP/IP roadmaps.

http://www.hp.com/go/openvms/roadmap

Beat,

it'll probably not be helpful, but TCPware and MultiNet have had IPP for some time.

Datasheets can be found at
http://www.process.com/tcpip/datasht.html
and
http://www.process.com/tcpip/multinetds.html
respectively.

cu,
Martin
Hi

Thanks for the answers. I was aware of that Progress offers this, but why pay addtional when UCX could already do it? In this case we will further investigate in the Multinet area, but - testing new products is such a pain ...

Best regards
Beat

I did some digging, expecting to find it
in tcpip. However, it appears that

http://www.process.com/tcpip/tcpcompare.html

is a valid answer.

Not listed in 5.7 either.
