I find documentation for failsafe IP. Where do I find documentation concerning LAN failover as referenced elsewhere on these forums?

Does it work fine with Decnet Phase IV?

See chapter 10, System Manager's Manual Vol 2 http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/82FINAL/aa-pv5nj-tk/aa-pv5nj-tk.HTMl.

LAN failover works very well with DECnet phase IV, Availability Manger, TCPIP, LAT, MOP, . . .

Make sure to pay attention to supported NICs. Support for DE-500s was added in an ECO for 7.3-2.

Andy

Thanks - we just upgraded to 7.3-2. But I am looking at deploying some new itaniums on 8.3 so was looking into best redundancy.
