Just type /page the older UTC$TIME_SETUP.COM
You'll soon see how it is not geared to display.
It just chooses:
UTC$CONFIGURE_TDF.COM and/or UTC$TIMEZONE_SETUP.COM

Those do not display either.
They just create files like:
<ROOT>:[SYSEXE]sys$timezone_src.dat

fwiw,
Hein.</ROOT>

I also do not have a 7.1 system available, but an old DCL cmd file I have says:

$! Assume V7.1 stuff
$       show_cmd = "@sys$manager:utc$configure_tdf  SHOW"

SO... my guess is that syntax

@sys$manager:utc$configure_tdf  SHOW

worked once upon a time for me :-)

p.s. you do not mention Alpha or Vax, but I believe this 7.1 cmd works on both.

Verne
