SS7 Data Link State SS7_K_DTLK_PROCESSOR_OUTAGE

Hi,
When I try to display status of the data link in the S7MPC, the following appears:

S7MP_C> show fep mynode4 mtp2 data_link 401 /all
...
Attribute Group : Status
Data Link State : SS7_K_DTLK_PROCESSOR_OUTAGE
...

Does anyone know what this status means and where is it described?

I assume, this has to do with S7 controllers (SIMATIC from SIEMENS), may be SIEMENS itself has some support pages on the web or forums?

Hi, well this is a VMS SS7 stack, so I chose OpenVMS/Networking forum. Is that correct?

The VMS version is 7.2-1. In case you could use any other info, please just let me know.

For those not familiar with it (and that includes me!), DecSS7 is a protocol stack used to communicate between an application on VMS and a telecomms switch commonly used in mobile phone networks.
My last contact with it was way back when Alphaserver2100A was replacing the original 2100...

I believe IN7 is trying to tell you that the remote end of the SS7 link is not operational. If Irememebr correctly the link is up but it has nothing to talk to.

This issue should be looked at the other then OpenVMS site. Iâ ve just confirmed this with our customer â the SS7 link was misconfigured on the STP site so there was nothing to correct on OpenVMS SS7 stack configuration.
