Please forgive my ignorance, but is there a location within the hp.com realm, like docs.hp.com, where the on-line version of the manuals are kept?

Start at:

www.hp.com/go/openvms

and if you look down the left side pane you'll find the link to the documentation as well as a whole lot of other information.

Or, if you want to get there quickly, use:

www.hp.com/go/openvms/doc

Also, on the VMS family itrc homepage, where you started this topic from has a 'useful links' section in its bottom right. It has a direct link to 'vms documentation'.

The docs are available in both HTML and PDF, for the last several versions of OpenVMS.

do you know about SysWork ?

Check the following WEB site:

http://www.sysworks.com.au/odl.html

They have lots of old Documentation Library CDs online. You'll find V6.2 documentation in the VAX Sep 1996 CDs.

Not needed. I have a copy of the cd presented by the WASD HTTP server on all my nodes. Buy thx. I'm only missing google on MY servers.
