      <description>This discussion has been very interesting in its explanation of the "innards" of the XFC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The "SHOW MEMORY/FILE=xxx" doesn't seem to exist on my VMS V7.3-2 system, though.  What I&lt;BR /&gt;get is the output about Paging and Swap files of the "SHOW MEM/FILES" cmd.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can I get this cmd to work as you've shown it?  Thanks</description>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;plus the filename must contain a device spec, i.e.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;show mem/cach=file=temp.txt will not work,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;while &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;show mem/cach=file=sys$disk:[]temp.txt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;does.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Greetings, Martin</description>
