DEC ACB ERROR

We are having AlphaStation 255/233 , OpenVMS V7.3-1 running on it. We are having DEC ACB V2.3-001( Auto Call Back) .

We are facing a problem like , after every 2/3 days may be 4/5 days sometime , we have to restart the ACB process, without which users can not log on to the System . ANd the message we receive is as below :

Line LTA7105:, on node NRC000, Disbled, Outgoing, Modem Type is USROBOTICS

Unless and untill we restart the ACB$SYMBOINT process , the line will not enabled.

So my question is that how to avoid this situation and is there any update/Patch on ACB .

Santanu,

I think ACB is not supported anymore.

Is the ACB$SYMBIONT gone or just the line disabled.
There could be more information in the ACB logfiles, is the problem occouring each time with the same line ?
