      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We have a DLT drive connected to a BA1200 via a SCSI controller.&lt;BR /&gt;This is the output of SHO DEV PK&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PKA0:                   Online PKB0:                   Online PKC0:                   Online  PKD0:                   Online &lt;BR /&gt;PKE0:                   Online &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can I find out which SCSI controller the Tape Drive is connected to?</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Normally tape devices show up as MK devices.&lt;BR /&gt;Did you do a&lt;BR /&gt;MCR SYSMAN IO AUTO&lt;BR /&gt;command?&lt;BR /&gt;What does&lt;BR /&gt;SHOW DEVICE MK&lt;BR /&gt;tell you?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Greetz,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kris (aka Qkcl)&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>$ show device MK&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Unless you are using port allocaton classes, the controller letters should match.</description>

      <description>Yes, that is correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me point out that you don't have 'a BA1200' - that is just the nodename of your machine, not the hardware name.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be able to get it via:&lt;BR /&gt;$ write sys$output f$getsyi("hw_name")</description>

      <description>Isallas,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SDA is also a useful tool, to display the SCSI configuration:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ ANAL/SYS&lt;BR /&gt;SDA&amp;gt; CLUE SCSI/SUMM&lt;BR /&gt;SDA&amp;gt; EXIT&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It will show you each SCSI adapter and the devices connected to that adapter.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Volker.</description>
