      <description>Hi all,Thanks for all your suggestions and help. I am facing another problem related to FTP in one of VAX 4105A server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Question : UCX 4.2 running on VMS 7.1. In a perticular Server when using FTP nodename including local host, error is " %FTP-E-HSTINF, Failed to get host information for local host name(e.g. APPLE.VAX) not available in dtabase". But the fact is that every definations are intact. The problem just started today.  Pls suggest&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>When you enter&lt;BR /&gt;UCX SHO HOST 'local' /LOCAL&lt;BR /&gt;is there a correct entry in the host db (please substitute 'local' with your local hostname)?</description>

      <description>Hi everybody,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have the same FTP problem, also on VMS 7.1 and UCX 4.1, with the IP address:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ ftp 10.96.xxx.xxx&lt;BR /&gt;%FTP-E-HSTINF, Failed to get host information for NODE01.domain.priv from database&lt;BR /&gt;-RMS-E-RNF, record not found&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ ucx ping 10.96.xxx.xxx&lt;BR /&gt;%UCX-I-LOOPACT, 10.96.xxx.xxx is alive&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any idea ?&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you.</description>

      <description>Hi Favre,&lt;BR /&gt;next time it's better you open a new your thread.&lt;BR /&gt;About your trouble, ucx V4.1 can open ftp host only if it recorded in database.&lt;BR /&gt;Make this:&lt;BR /&gt;$ ucx set host &lt;NAME&gt; /addr=10.96.xxx.xxx&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Cheers.&lt;BR /&gt;Antonio Vigliotti&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/NAME&gt;</description>
