about print form

Hello there,

We had created a Legal landscape form in the library. The form text file is the following

hp_lgl_land.txt
84P1O

This form works fine on HP9000 printer

But on HP8150N printer, When we use the this from to print file, we have to manully to feed paper to printer HP8150N

Anybody has idea?

This is most likely related to the default tray setting on the printer. On some HP printers it can be set on the printer control panel. Jobs from VMS will print on the default tray unless the PCL/PJL tells it otherwise.

Lionel,

Of course you specified the escape code for "Landscape"
Did you also specify explicitly for "legal"?
In that case, your printer has to know that the default tray contains "legal", or, you also have to specify (in hp_lgl_land.txt) in which tray you load legal.
I do not know the HP8150N, but if you simply load legal in the default printer, then, _remove_ the "legal" specification from the library.

- those situations are not mutually exclusive, maybe even both solutions will work.
