Problems with DECprint Supervisor V2.4

Last weekend we upgraded DCPS to V2.4. We now have problems printing to specific input trays on some HP LaserJets (2200 and 8150). The printers are responding with a message that the trays are not installed when they clearly must be:

%DCPS-E-INTRAYNOTAVL, No tray_1 tray is installed on Student Enquiries 8150
-DCPS-I-JOB_ID, for job TEST (queue ISB_STUENQ_8150, entry 1414) on ISB_STUENQ_8150

We have tried other printers (e.g. 2300) and have no problems specifying the input tray.

Anyone else encountered this problem or know of a cure?

note that the previously mentioned problem with V2.4 is specific to certain printer models so check with hp to see if it applies to the hp models you use.
