Hello all,

Accordinly to "SAN design reference guide" (http:h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00093931/c00093931.pdf&pos=5), section "Booting from the SAN" (page 169), VMS (and nobody else) can not boot from the EVA4000,6k and 8k but only from 3k and 5k. Is it still true? Or this restriction is obsolete?
Thank you.

--
Valentin.

Valentin, according to a bulliten I just received from HP, the answer is a qualified yes. You must be running VMS7-3.2 or highers, and using an HP Fibre Channel HBA on the Alpha.
