Archive Backup System

Does anyone know what the current version path is for Archive/Backup System for OpenVMS? Specifically, I'm looking for what version of ABS/MDMS is supported under version 8.2 of OpenVMS (Alpha and Itanium). Thanks!

Hello Trace,

ABS v4.3 will run under OpenVMS v8.2 from this month (see http://h18000.www1.hp.com/info/SP4816/SP4816PF.PDF).

Does anyone know if the RDF support has been extended to OpenVMS V8.2 on Alpha? When ABS V4.3 first came out RDF was now working on V8.2 and the support center and CA weren't sure when that problem would get resolved.

I'd love to be able to upgrade to VMS 8.2 but can't do it until RDF support is there.

As usual for 'is it supported' questions the only people that can supply offical answers are hp.

From the VMS roadmap I would expect ABS to be supported on V8.2.
