This is the HP Itrc forum. While it deals with VMS and VMS related things, the VMS TCPIP product is different from the Process Software Corporation's "TCPWARE" Product - as such you would stand a much better chance. Go to www.process.com, select service and support, select documentation,
select the installation guide. Read it, particularly chapter 3, (in particular if you read around page 3-3, it will explain how to change IP addresseses, although I would suggest a read of the whole book, if you don't know what you are doing, or haven't done this before. Preferably before you start installing software and trying to configure it.

Peter

The information displayed by SHOW NETWORK is dependent on setup being done by SYS$STARTUP:SYS$NET_SERVICES.COM which looks for SYS$STARTUP:SYS$NET_SERVICES_*.COM so there should be a SYS$STARTUP:SYS$NET_SERVICES_TCPWARE.COM to register the appropriate information.

If the IP address is now configured (but was not when the system started) then try
@SYS$STARTUP:SYS$NET_SERVICES.COM

You should run CNFNET:

$ @TCPWARE:CNFNET
