Backup problem on VAX verson 7.2

We are getting a ACC error "file marked no backup" doing a backup/image of the system disk to tape. Backup stops instead of continueing on.

System type is a VAX4000-760

What is the latest backup image? Was it released in 2000? There must be a newer one out there.

What do you mean with ACC ?

ere is the command and the output. It appears the message gets chopped off.

did this ever work before ? When did it start failing ? Is the account running BACKUP set up according to the suggestions, e.g.:

In your first question, you refered to a "file marked no backup" error, but your 2nd update did not show this error. Please try to provide the full error message seen when backup is terminating. Consider to use cut and paste to copy the backup command and message literally.
