Vladimir,

1. we're running a rx2600 in a mixed version, mixed architecture cluster for nearly 2 years without problems. I've built, run and seen another couple of OpenVMS I64 native and mixed architecture clusters, even two of them using EVAs.

Even OpenVMS I64 is OpenVMS is OpenVMS !

3. A system with a Cluster Client license cannot have VOTES > 0 and can not MSCP-serve disks or tapes.

Volker.

Hello
I am working on some project. One of solutions is VMS cluster with integrity servers (and EVA).
Some questions:
1. Does someone have integrity cluster? How is it working? Any problems?
2. This cluster has to run Oracle 10g database (it should be out soon). Anyone else has this in mind for future?
3. Foundation OS and additional software has to be used. Not mission critical. Is HP clusters OpenVMS I64 (BA420AA and BA412AC) enough? What is the difference between HP clusters OpenVMS I64 and HP cluster client OpenVMS I64? What is client needed for?
Regards

Thanks

Steven, TestDrive is OK, but I want to hear real informations from "old wolfs".

Volker, glad to hear it!
Since there will be no more TRU64 Cluster, OpenVMS is the only real cluster sollution (and, of course, it was allways the best sollution). In my cases HP ServiceGuard is just not good enough (anyway, it is not cluster, it is MS like "cluster")

I have a three architecture development cluster that works just fine.

VMS I64 is VMS as you know and love it. It shares almost all source code with current Alpha VMS.
