      <description>We have GS1280 and ES40s with DEGXA-TB gig etherned adapters.  They should show up as EWx devices. EWA-x, EWB-x, EWC-x, etc if you have more than one.  When you use the DCL command $ show device EW &lt;CR&gt; you might see EWA-0, EWA-2, EWA-4. Looks to be one for each protocol and maybe other things...just looked at one and it was T4 running to collect data. I would guess that if you have IP, DECnet and cluster services running on the DEGXA card, there would be at least 3 EWA-x devices.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can get more information on the devices in $ MC LANCP ....show device EWA-x /char or /count.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/CR&gt;</description>

      <description>Just be aware that the device name for these devices may have a different name under OpenVMS and on the console.  For example on the console they may show up as EWA0 but under OpenVMS they may change to EWC0 for example.  This is due to how OpenVMS and the console scan the PCI buses.</description>
