      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;Hello all &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm getting an ABORT message during queue initialization via DCPS$STARTUP.&lt;BR /&gt;I'm looking for a good way of troubleshooting this issue ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here is some relevant information :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;OpenVMS V7.3-2  on node SX9072&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ sh que /man/full&lt;BR /&gt;Master file:  SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]QMAN$MASTER.DAT;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Queue manager SYS$QUEUE_MANAGER, running, on SX9072::&lt;BR /&gt;  /ON=(*)&lt;BR /&gt;  Database location:  SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ sh log dcps$version&lt;BR /&gt;   "DCPS$VERSION" = "F2.5" (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;extract of the DCPS queue initialization :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ initialize_queue:&lt;BR /&gt;$  initialize /queue LJ3700                                             -&lt;BR /&gt;        /on=SX9072::"IP_RawTCP/lj3700:9100"                                                     -&lt;BR /&gt;        /default=(form=dcps$default,nofeed)                             -&lt;BR /&gt;        /noenable_generic                                               -&lt;BR /&gt;        /form=dcps$default                                              -&lt;BR /&gt;        /library=DCPS_LIB                                               -&lt;BR /&gt;        /processor=dcps$smb                                             -&lt;BR /&gt;        /schedule=nosize                                                -&lt;BR /&gt;        /separate=(burst,noreset,trailer)                               -&lt;BR /&gt;        /start                                                  -&lt;BR /&gt;        /SEPARATE=(NOBURST,FLAG)&lt;BR /&gt;%SYSTEM-F-ABORT, abort&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LJ300 is defined by the DSN and pingable&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Before I tried to create this queue, it was already defined but stopped, and I got the same abort message when trying to start it. I could delete the queue with no problem. &lt;BR /&gt;The DCPS startup is a straight copy of the template that came with my dcps version, with only this queue on the system (except an lpr queue).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cordialement&lt;BR /&gt;Jean-François</description>
