Missing Oracle Patches for OpenVMS Integrity server

Hi,

I am trying to setup Oracle database for new HP OpenVMS Itanium server. As per Oracle recommendation for 10g rel2, the following patches need to be applied. However there are few patches that are not downloadable. May I know where do I get the patch download for the ones that is marked as not available below please. These are not available in the ITRC patch download list.

For VMS821I_UPDATE V2.0 (not available)
I find at
ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/openvms_patches/i64/V8.2-1/

the update v400 instead of the v200.

I have not found the Availman patches at ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/openvms_patches/layered_products/i64/
and nor at the Availman page

Hi,

More problems I have when I downloaded. The following are the errors displayed :-
Hewlett-Packard regrets that this patch, VMS821I_BASRTL-V0200.ZIPEXE, VMS821I_DEBUG-V0200.ZIPEXE, VMS821I_FIBRE_SCSI-V0200.ZIPEXE,
VMS821I_LOADSS-V0200.ZIPEXE, VMS821I_SYS-V0300.ZIPEXE, VMS821I_TDF-V0300.ZIPEXE, VMS821I_UPDATE-V0400.ZIPEXE, is no longer available from Patch Database.

Please advice, how serious it could be to neglect this patches.

check which patches are included in the current UPDATE patch kit. You may find the missing ones are included.

Can someone tell me from which site it will be more appropriate to download the patches.
I have been using the Singapore site so far, the reason being that the default site is taking too long to complete transfer.

After applying the patches this is the final status. The one marked as present are present in DSA0:[patches.821]and the one that are marked as not available are not present in the patch site as well. Please help.

you can download WEBES (including SEA and WCCPROXY) from the Analysis Tools Page:

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/svctools/

These are not patches, these are service tools, that need to be installed and configured properly.

Availability Manager V2.6 can be downloaded from:

http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/products/availman/index.html

Again, this is a product, which needs to be installed and configured. Read the installation instructions and the release notes.
