      <title>ES47 DATE TIME PROMPT</title>

      <description>I have two ES47... One prompts for datetime&lt;BR /&gt;during the boot process, one does not. How do&lt;BR /&gt;do I inform the node that is aking for the date-time to not ask.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank You&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Bruce</description>

      <description>Bruce,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;welcome to the OpenVMS ITRC forum.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The system parameter SETTIME controls, whether the system always asks for the time during boot or only, if it can't read the time from the watch chip.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SETTIME should be set to 0.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it is and the system still asks for the time on boot, there may be a hardware problem (battery failure ?) on your watch chip.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Volker.</description>
