<title>OpenVMS Suspended Process Has Tape Unit Mounted</title>
      <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-openvms/openvms-suspended-process-has-tape-unit-mounted/m-p/3988597#M83321</link>
<description>One of our tape units had a hardware problem whilst being used by a batch job. The tape unit has been replaced but the batch job still had it mounted and allocated. I have deleted the batch job (by resetting the queue) but the process still has the unit mounted. &lt;BR /&gt;I have tried deleting the process but it is still left in a suspended state. Is there any way that I can delete the process and freeup the tape drive without rebooting the Alpha.</description>
