Thanks Rob.

Two of us spent half an hour hunting the HP site yesterday, but couldn't find it - the VMS Firmware links still point to the 'dead' ftp.digital.com!

Cheers, Rob.

ftp.digital.com was shutdown as part of HP's data center consolidation project. The server was located in Littleton MA data center which is being closed. We moved the alphaserver firmware off to ftp.hp.com during december 2007. All the pointers were supposed to have been updated to http://h18002.www1.hp.com/alphaserver/firmware for alphaserver firmware. Some haven't been. However all the firmware is out there on ftp.hp.com/pub/alphaserver/firmware

I've been tracking URL pointers into the HP web site and posting details and pointers and updates on the local web site for a while now, FWIW.

http://64.223.189.234/node/683

The SWXCR and RAID Array and related firmware, the SRM firmware and various other pieces have all have moved in recent months.

Though I have no foreknowledge of this, it would not surprise me to see various of the Compaq web pages and even various of the static HP move over into whatever preferred web Content Management System (CMS) HP is currently using or is moving toward. A CMS migration simply makes good business sense for HP, after all.
