QUEUE MANAGER/JOB CONTROL PROCESS

Folks, does anyone know how the pgflquo is calculated on OpenVMS 7.3-2 Alphaserver for the queue manager process? Used to be from VMS$CONFIG-050_JOBCTL.COM job control process in v6.2, but my pgflquo does not seem to be what that is calculating. Thanks!

If SYSGEN's PQL_MPGFLQUOTA is greater than the value computed and specified in VMS$CONFIG-050_JOBCTL.COM then it would be used instead. (See $ mcr sysgen help sys_p pql_mpg for details)

I have VMS 7.3 with a pagefile of 12 Mblocks.
The pgfl for the queue manager is 5999936.
Exactly the 50% of the pagefile size.

I checked the job_control process and found that this one is getting 5999936 too.

Another system has a pagefile of 3Mblocks and a pgfl of 14999968, so that one is correct too.

What are the values you get ?
