have you checked which ports on the hsm they are plugged in to, could be logical qbb0 in gp0 hard qbb0 and logical qbb1 in gp5 hard qbb5

We have a GS160 that when powered on has problems with the HP_COUNT settings. Normally when I set a GS160 to HP_COUNT 0 and all of the QBB masks to 0. I should get this

system = QBB 0 1             + HS
QBB 0 = CPU 0       + Mem 0       + Dir + IOP + PCA 0 1     + GP  (Hard QBB 0)
QBB 1 = CPU 0       + Mem         + Dir + IOP + PCA         + GP  (Hard QBB 1)

instead I am getting this output:

system = QBB 0 1             + HS
QBB 0 = CPU 0       + Mem 0       + Dir + IOP + PCA 0 1     + GP  (Hard QBB 0)
QBB 1 = CPU 0       + Mem         + Dir + IOP + PCA         + GP  (Hard QBB 5)

any ideas why I can not get qbb1 to show up as hard partition 1 when I have the HP_COUNT set to 0?

regards,

Bennyb
